About George Blanchet Bulls II
George Blanchet Bulls II was born in Alabama and grew up in Oklahoma. He graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 2003 and returned to Tuskegee, Alabama, to uphold his family's legacy of community service. Inspired by the entrepreneurial spirit of his ancestors, he pursued a legal career. In 2006, he began his studies at the Thomas Goode Jones School of Law in Montgomery, Alabama. During his second year, he was part of the mock-trial team that secured the Black Law Student Association (BLSA) National Title for Mock Trials. Notably, he became the first student from his law school to intern with EJI in Montgomery.
After earning his law degree and passing the bar, George opened his law practice in January 2010, situated in a family-owned building where his uncle, Albert C. Bulls III, Esq., has practiced for over 40 years. His father also manages the family’s realty and construction ventures there. George focuses on personal injury, probate matters, and criminal defense, handling over 25% of Macon County’s appointed cases. This extensive work led to his involvement with the Middle District of Alabama's CJA Panel, where he has practiced for more than 11 years, accepting federal court appointments.
In addition to his legal practice, George serves as Co-City Counsel for Union Springs, Alabama, and as the current city prosecutor for the Town of Shorter. Since December 2020, he has also been the municipal judge for the City of Tuskegee. He is married to Tiffanne Hansle-Bulls, and they reside in Tuskegee. George is actively involved in the community, serving on the Boards of the Tuskegee Federal Credit Union and the Federal Defender Office for the Middle District of Alabama.
