About Larry G Cooper
Larry G Cooper graduated from Auburn University in 1987, earning a B.A. in Pre-Law Criminal Justice. During his time at Auburn, he played football from 1981 to 1984 and was part of the 1983 SEC Championship team and the 1984 Sugar Bowl Champion team.
He pursued his legal education at the Thomas Goode Jones School of Law, graduating in August 1993 while maintaining a full-time career in law enforcement for over three decades. At law school, Larry was an active member of the Sigma Delta Kappa Law Fraternity, serving as Vice President in his second year and President in his third. Additionally, he held the position of Chief Justice of the School's Honor Court, overseeing disciplinary hearings.
Upon graduation, Larry served as a Law Clerk for former Circuit Judge John Davis in Montgomery County, Alabama, for two years. In this role, he assisted with judicial research and writing and acted as a special master in pendente lite divorce proceedings.
In April 1994, Larry began his legal practice in Auburn, focusing on domestic relations and criminal cases. In 2007, he partnered with his brother, Andrew Cooper, to establish Cooper & Cooper, Attorneys at Law, LLC.
