Robert Howard Jr

Robert C. Howard Jr. brings over 35 years of expertise in family law to his practice in Arizona. Known for his deep understanding and personal attention to clients, Robert has made significant contributions to the legal community. In 2008, he was named one of the top 50 pro bono attorneys in the state by the State Bar of Arizona. His commitment to the community was further recognized in 2011 when he was inducted into the Scottsdale Historymakers Hall of Fame by the Scottsdale Chamber of Commerce.

Robert served as President of the Scottsdale Bar Association from 1985 to 1986. In 2006, he received the Award of Excellence for Community Service from the Association. His dedication to volunteer work was acknowledged by the Maricopa County Bar, which awarded him the Volunteer of the Year Award in 2000 and the Longevity Award for Outstanding Performance in 2014 for his efforts with the Loved ones Law Assistance Program (FLAP).

Robert played a pivotal role in establishing a monthly legal assistance program at the Paiute Neighborhood Center, where members of the Scottsdale Bar Association offer free legal services. He also initiated an annual fundraising breakfast for the Center and collaborated with the Scottsdale Charros to create a program for Scottsdale School students to enjoy a day at the stadium during spring training.

In addition to his legal work, Robert has been influential in the Scottsdale community. He was on the negotiation team for the Charros, securing long-term contracts with the San Francisco Giants. He has also served as President of the Scottsdale Charros, the Partners for Paiute Neighborhood Center, and the Scottsdale Education Foundation.

Robert's civic involvement extends to serving a six-year term on the Scottsdale Airport Advisory Commission, where he was Chairman for two years. He was part of Class I of Scottsdale Leadership and later served on its Board and as President from 1992 to 1993.

His leadership and service have been recognized with several awards, including the Frank Hodges Leadership Award in 1999, the Charro of the Year Award in 1988, and the Charro Lifer of the Year Award in 2002.
