Amy Elizabeth Dohrendorf

Amy Dohrendorf has dedicated over two decades to practicing law in the greater Phoenix area. Since 2007, she has been with the Arizona Law Group and its predecessor, becoming a partner in 2015. Her lifelong passion for law was evident even in childhood, as highlighted by a cherished graduation gift from her father: a newspaper clipping stating, "I was born to be a lawyer!"

In 1997, Amy graduated cum laude from Northern Arizona University with a Bachelor of Science in Communications and was awarded the Harold C. Lawson Memorial Law Scholarship. She earned her Juris Doctor from The University of Denver Sturm College of Law in 2000.

Amy began her legal career in criminal defense, serving as an Assistant Public Defender with the Maricopa County Public Defender’s Office for three years. Her focus then shifted to family law, where she draws on her personal experience as a child of divorce to guide her practice. Her goal is to help clients achieve positive outcomes for their families while prioritizing children's best interests.

As a skilled divorce attorney, Amy excels in litigation, mediation, and trial work, always striving for the best possible results. Outside the courtroom, Amy enjoys fitness activities such as snow skiing in places like Norway and participating in boot camp training with her team, the 'Boot Camp Babes.' They have raised over $80,000 for the Susan G. Komen 3-day walk for breast cancer research. Her personal interests include the Phoenix Suns and a penchant for venti unsweetened iced coffee from Starbucks.
