Before his current role, Mr. Anderson served as a Deputy Pima County Legal professional from 2014 to 2019, where he prosecuted over 2,000 felony and misdemeanor cases and led 45 jury trials. With more than 2,500 hours of courtroom experience, Mr. Anderson is a proven litigator.
During law school, he clerked for Senator Jon Kyl in Washington, D.C., and worked with the Civil Division of the Pima County Attorney’s Office, handling property variances, tax valuations, easements, eminent domain, and environmental issues. Prior to attending law school, he was a licensed Realtor® in Southern Arizona.
Mr. Anderson earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law in May 2013. He participated in the Ninth Circuit Pro Bono Appellate Advocacy Clinic and received several awards, including the Samuel M. Fegtly Award and the CALI Excellence for the Future Award. He was also a member of the National Moot Court Team and the 3L Moot Court Board. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education with a minor in Political Science from the University of Arizona, completed in May 2010.
