Edyta Christina Grzybowska Grant

Edyta Christina Grzybowska Grant brings a personal understanding to her role as an immigration attorney, having navigated the complexities of immigration herself. Born to Polish and Bulgarian parents, she is a legal resident of three countries, including the U.S., and has firsthand experience with student, tourist, and work visas, as well as marriage to a U.S. citizen and adjustment of status. Her unique background enables her to empathize deeply with her clients' concerns.

Ms. Grzybowska Grant earned a Masters Degree in Public Policy with an emphasis in International Relations from Pepperdine University and a Juris Doctor from George Mason University School of Law. During her studies, she interned with Ms. Anne Greer, Assistant Chief Immigration Judge for the Board of Immigration Appeals, and participated in the Asylum Clinic led by retired Federal Judge Bruce Einhorn, author of the U.S. Asylum Law.

Arriving in the U.S. in 1995 on a full tuition scholarship to a Boston college, Ms. Grzybowska Grant has received numerous academic honors. These include the CALI Excellence for the Future Award for Asylum and Refugee Law in May 2009, the Diversity Scholar for the Washington DC Metropolitan Region by Constangy, Brooks and Smith in 2007, the Kern County Women Lawyers Foundation Scholarship in 2009, and the Colors of Justice Scholarship Award in 2007.

Her legal career began in civil law at Thomas Anton and Associates, where she worked on Erin Brockovich series cases. However, her passion for immigration law led her to focus exclusively on this field. Ms. Grzybowska Grant also contributes her expertise as a volunteer immigration attorney with the Greater Bakersfield Legal Assistance program, maintaining strong connections with expatriate communities.
