Joseph Whittington

Joseph Whittington, a seasoned attorney at Rodriguez & Associates, is dedicated to representing personal injury victims in Bakersfield, California. He earned an athletic scholarship for swimming at UC Berkeley, where he was a four-year varsity member of the Men's Swim Team and served as Captain in 2008/2009. He achieved All-American honors four times and competed in the United States Olympic Swim Team Trials in 2004 and 2008.

Coming from a family with a strong legal background, Joseph's father practices real estate law in Bakersfield, and his grandfather was a Kern County Superior Court Judge. During college, Joseph honed his legal skills working at a law firm in Oakland, California. He graduated from Cal in 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies, focusing on the Globalization of Business, and earned his JD from Western State College of Law. Joseph passed the California Bar Exam in 2013.

Outside the office, Joseph enjoys running along the bike path or at Hart Park. He cherishes time with his wife, Katherine, and their children, Ellie and Michael.
