Daniel Timothy Quane

Daniel T. Quane is the head of Doyle Quane's Trusts and Estates practice, bringing extensive expertise to his role. He is a Certified Specialist in Estate Planning, Trusts, and Probate Law, emphasizing personalized legal strategies for a diverse clientele. Dan holds advanced legal degrees in Taxation (LL.M.) and Estate Planning, Trust & Probate Law (LL.M.), and was recognized as a Super Lawyer’s Rising Star in 2015 and 2016.

Dan excels in guiding families through the complexities of trust administration and probate court processes, ensuring efficient legal outcomes. He has a particular interest in working with blended families, utilizing marital agreements to achieve equitable estate planning solutions. His practice areas include Estate Planning, Probate, Trust Administration, Marital Agreements, and Business Entity Formation.

Dan earned his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Davis and his J.D. with distinction from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law. He furthered his education with an LL.M. in Taxation with honors from Golden Gate University and is a member of the Traynor Honor Society and Order of the Coif.

His professional affiliations include the California State Bar Association, the Contra Costa Bar Association, and the California Bar – Trusts & Estates Section, among others. Dan's legal experience is complemented by his externship at the U.S. Bankruptcy Court with Judge Christopher M. Klein.

Outside of his legal practice, Dan enjoys family life in Livermore, CA, with his wife and two young sons. He is an avid sports fan, supporting the Golden State Warriors, and enjoys camping, fishing, and spending time with friends and family.
