Catherine A. Schwartz

Catherine A. Schwartz leverages more than two decades of experience in family law and criminal defense within California. Her academic journey began with a sociology degree from Philadelphia Christian College, followed by earning a B.S. in law and a JD from Western State University College of Law, San Diego, in 1991. Upon passing the California State Bar that same year, she commenced her practice in family law, juvenile dependency, and juvenile delinquency law, working in both San Diego and Riverside, CA.

For over 20 years, Ms. Schwartz has been dedicated to the fields of family law and criminal defense, possessing comprehensive knowledge of the family, juvenile, and criminal justice systems. Her active participation in the Riverside community includes membership in organizations such as Soroptimist International of Riverside, the Riverside County Anti-Human Trafficking Task Force, Smile Seekers, Voices for the Children, and Volunteers in Parole. She is also an alumna of the Leadership Riverside Class of 2010.

Ms. Schwartz has contributed to legal education by serving as an attorney coach for the Perris High School Mock Trial Team and the Paloma Valley High School Mock Trial Team for approximately six years.
