Joseph A. Stolz

Joseph A. Stolz is an associate with the Labor & Employment Group at Jeffer Mangels Butler & Mitchell LLP, where he provides comprehensive representation to employers across a spectrum of employment law and business issues. His expertise includes managing complex litigation, conducting thorough workplace investigations, and effectively resolving disputes.

Joseph has successfully represented clients in both employment and business litigation, notably serving as second chair in two trials that awarded over $1 million in damages. He has also achieved favorable outcomes in numerous mediations. His experience extends to drafting and opposing more than a dozen summary judgment motions with a high success rate. Furthermore, he has prepared multiple successful appellate briefs and has argued cases before the California Court of Appeal. Joseph is adept at overseeing all phases of litigation, including complex discovery and e-discovery in cases involving high volumes of documents.

He also advocated for high-level employees in discrimination and wrongful termination cases.

Joseph graduated cum laude from Loyola Law School, distinguished as a Sayre Macneil Scholar, a Scott Moot Court Competition finalist, and a Scott Moot Court Honors Board volunteer member.
