Kourosh Azin

Kourosh Azin serves as an attorney in the Corporate Group at Jeffer Mangels Butler & Mitchell LLP, where he expertly navigates a range of corporate matters. His practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, and corporate governance. Kourosh represents private equity firms and strategic buyers in both buy-side and sell-side transactions, spanning from early-stage investments to multibillion-dollar acquisitions. He leads diligence efforts, negotiates transaction documents, and coordinates cross-functional litigation teams to help clients achieve their business objectives.

Before joining JMBM, Kourosh gained valuable experience at renowned international law firms, including Goodwin Procter LLP and Sidley Austin LLP. During his tenure there, he advised on transactions valued between $10 million and $3 billion, covering asset and stock purchase acquisitions, strategic mergers, growth equity investments, and search fund transactions. His responsibilities included leading diligence workstreams, negotiating transaction documents, and managing corporate governance tasks such as drafting NDAs and purchase agreements.

Kourosh is recognized for his responsiveness, precision, and efficiency. He approaches each transaction with a collaborative and solutions-focused mindset, fostering trust with clients and maintaining productive relationships with counterparties. His goal is to provide practical, results-oriented legal advice across diverse industries.

Outside of his professional commitments, Kourosh enjoys snowboarding, practicing yoga and mindfulness, and spending time with his King Charles Cavalier-Poodle mix, Chai Latte Frappuccino III. He is fluent in Spanish and Farsi.
