Patrick Collishaw

Patrick Collishaw serves as an associate in the Labor & Employment Department at Jeffer Mangels Butler & Mitchell LLP. He specializes in representing employers on issues such as wage-and-hour disputes, wrongful termination, discrimination, retaliation, workplace privacy, unionization, and collective bargaining. Patrick is actively involved in all stages of litigation, including discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.

Patrick is known for being a responsive and detail-oriented advocate. He is committed to understanding his clients' objectives and delivering timely, practical advice tailored to their specific needs.

Before joining the firm, Patrick gained valuable experience as a legal intern at the Public Contracting Institute in Washington, DC. He provided guidance on labor and employment obligations for government contractors and supported accredited training programs for contracting professionals.

While attending law school, Patrick worked as a Research Assistant for Professor Cheryl Kettler in the GW Law Fundamentals of Lawyering Research Department. His work involved legal research on discrimination, equity, and inclusion initiatives. Additionally, he served as an editor for the George Washington Journal of Energy and Environmental Law.

Patrick also interned with the in-house legal team at GT’s Living Foods, where he focused on labor and employment compliance and litigation for a global company with over 1,500 employees and more than $300 million in annual revenue.
