Sherrie Munson

Sherrie A. Munson has been a pivotal figure in family law since her admission to the California State Bar in 2010. Her career began with over a decade as the Program Director for domestic violence at Fairview Hospitals in Minnesota, where she developed a deep commitment to individual advocacy. Transitioning to family law, Sherrie offers empathetic legal guidance, understanding the emotional complexities of divorce and child custody matters.

Her experience at an emergency youth shelter has equipped her with unique insights into the DCSS/foster system, enhancing her advocacy efforts. Sherrie is passionate about representing clients in high-stakes dissolutions, domestic violence, and child custody cases, focusing on achieving favorable outcomes while supporting clients emotionally.

A strong connection with her clients is central to her practice, as she takes pride in understanding the intricacies of each case. Outside of her legal work, Sherrie enjoys spending time with her family, including her five adult children, eight grandchildren, and three dogs. Her commitment extends beyond legal excellence to guiding clients toward better emotional well-being, informed by her firsthand experiences with domestic violence survivors.
