Redmond Walton

Redmond Walton, born and raised in North County San Diego, is thrilled to be part of Walton Law Office in Escondido, California. He completed his undergraduate studies at UC Santa Cruz, earning a B.S. in Earth Science and participating in the school's surf team.

Redmond pursued his legal education at California Western School of Law, where he made the Dean's List and served as Editor of the California Western Law Review. His scholarly work includes the article, 'Not Bluffing: Resolving Doctrinal Ambiguities in California's Natural Condition Immunity as Climate Change Heightens Risks of Injuries on Public Lands,' featured in the California Western Law Review (Vol. 58: Iss. 2, Article 7).

In addition, Redmond authored 'Nursing Homes: Health & Safety Code §1430, subdivision (b), An Overlooked Statute That Can Drive Your Case,' published in the October 2025 issue of Advocate magazine. This article explores how violations of residents' rights can strengthen cases of neglect. During law school, he gained valuable experience as a Judicial Extern for Hon. Dana Sabraw, Chief Federal Judge of the Southern District of California, and as a Cal Western Teaching Fellow in Torts, providing academic support to peers. He graduated Cum Laude in 2023.

Before embarking on his legal career, Redmond spent nearly a decade as an ocean lifeguard on various North County beaches. Outside of his professional life, he is passionate about surfing.
