Christopher Watters

Christopher C. Watters was born and raised in Fresno, California. He earned his B.A. in Politics from the University of California, Santa Cruz in 2004, followed by a J.D., With Distinction, from San Joaquin College of Law in 2007. Mr. Watters is admitted to practice litigation before all state courts in California, as well as the United States District Court for the Eastern and Central Districts of California.

Mr. Watters is an active member of several professional organizations, including the State Bar of California, the Fresno County Bar Association, the Kings County Bar Association, the Central California Trial Lawyers’ Association, and the Federal Bar Association. His affiliations extend to the American Association for Justice, the American Bar Association, the Consumer Attorneys of California, the American Society of Legal Advocates, the National Trial Lawyers, the Motor Car Trial Lawyers Association, and the American Academy of Trial Attorneys.

Recognized for his legal expertise, Mr. Watters holds an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings. He has been named a Top 100 Trial Lawyer and a Top 40 Under 40 by the National Trial Lawyers. The American Society of Legal Advocates also recognized him as one of the Top 40 Lawyers under 40 in California. Additionally, he was honored as a Premiere 100 Trial Lawyer by the American Academy of Trial Attorneys and as a 2014 Top Attorney by Northern California's Outstanding Young Lawyers.

Since 2012, Mr. Watters has consistently been selected for inclusion in the Northern California Rising Stars list, a distinction awarded to only 2.5% of attorneys in Northern California. His practice focuses on civil litigation, particularly in areas such as plaintiff's personal injury, wrongful death, UM/UIM, and product liability.
