Frank Huerta Jr

Frank Huerta Jr. brings 19 years of extensive experience as an attorney and law clerk, specializing in government and tax law. Based in Fresno, California, he is dedicated to helping clients maintain their businesses and livelihoods. Frank believes that a file represents more than just paperwork; it embodies his clients' hard work and significant life investments.

Frank has a successful history of representing taxpayers in disputes with the IRS, Franchise Tax Board, Board of Equalization, and Employment Development Department. Previously, he served as the Interim Executive Director and a Supervising Lawyer for the Consumer, Tax, and Labor law team at a major non-profit law firm in the Central Valley, where he led attorneys in resolving consumer debt and general litigation issues.

With extensive experience in tax law, Frank has directed tax clinics where he effectively represented hundreds of taxpayers in controversies involving the IRS, FTB, BOE (CDTFA), and EDD. He is authorized to practice before the IRS, United States Tax Court, and California tax authorities.

During law school, Frank externed with the California Franchise Tax Board, where he submitted briefs to the state's tax court and addressed various tax issues, including nonresident returns and pension law. He reviewed auditors' work, made corrections, and negotiated settlements with taxpayers. His practice areas include Sales & Use Tax, Income Tax, Payroll Taxes, and Estate Tax.

Outside of his professional responsibilities, Frank volunteers at schools, helping students prepare for college and graduate school. He also enjoys traveling in his spare time.
