Maria C. Jaime

Maria C. Jaime is a seasoned personal injury attorney at Curtis Litigation Group, focusing her practice on representing clients in cases involving auto mishaps, truck incidents, off-road vehicle accidents, trip and fall disputes, and wrongful death claims. Her commitment to advocacy is rooted in her upbringing as the daughter of migrant farm workers in California.

Maria earned her Bachelor of Science in Social Sciences from California State University, Stanislaus in 2000 and her law degree from Lincoln College of San Jose in 2003. She has been licensed to practice law in California since 2004. Maria's career began with California Rural Courtroom Assistance, where she provided free legal services to rural low-income families.

In 2006, Maria became the first Latina lawyer at Curtis Legal Group, where she continues to vigorously defend the rights of injured victims. Her professional affiliations include the State Bar of California, Stanislaus County Bar Association, and Wray F. Ladin American Inn of Court.

A leader in the Hispanic community, Maria is actively involved with the Stanislaus County Latino Giving Circle and has volunteered with the Hispanic Leadership Council, the American GI Forum, Mujeres Latinas of Stanislaus County, and the Latino Community Roundtable. She has served as Past-President of the Latino Business Association and held board positions with the Stanislaus County Literacy Center, Interfaith Ministries, Central California Child Development Services, Inc., and El Concilio.

Maria's excellence in personal injury law has been recognized by her inclusion in the Northern California Super Lawyers List by Thomson Reuters in 2020 and 2021.
