Tiega N Varlack

Tiega N Varlack founded Varlack Courtroom Services in 2009, establishing herself as a dedicated trial counsel. Her early courtroom experience was shaped by her involvement with the Alameda County Bar’s CAAP program and Lawyer Referral Service, which were instrumental in her development as a young litigator. A graduate of Howard Law School, Tiega was inspired to be a 'social engineer,' advocating for those unable to fight for themselves.

Following law school, she served on the Board of Directors of the Charles Houston Bar Association as membership chair, furthering her commitment to community service. Her firm now represents a diverse array of victims in both large and small cases, leveraging its extensive background in entity formation, business law, contracts, and employment matters.

Tiega's legal career began in 2006 with experience in BigLaw, focusing on business law and contracts. At Howard Law, she honed her courtroom skills as a student lawyer in the D.C. Law Students in Court program, representing indigent clients and gaining membership in the D.C. Bar.

Her comprehensive trial experience covers civil, criminal, administrative, and immigration proceedings. She is adept in legal research, writing, and appeals, with particular expertise in contract dispute resolution, analysis, and pre-litigation advising. Tiega also provides employment advice, drafts employee handbooks, and negotiates commercial leases.

Beyond her legal practice, Tiega enjoys art history, wine tasting, and shopping vintage. She values mentoring new attorneys and has cultivated strong relationships within the Alameda County Bar.
