Samuel Landis

Samuel Landis has been at the forefront of tax law since founding Segal, Cohen & Landis, P.C. in 1997. With a Master’s Degree in Taxation (LL.M.) from Boston University, Samuel has personally managed thousands of tax claims, including some of the largest and most complex in industries such as sports, entertainment, and gaming. His cases have gained national attention, frequently covered by prestigious publications and news outlets. Samuel’s expertise is further recognized as he often serves as an expert witness in court cases involving intricate tax issues.

Beyond his legal practice, Samuel has nurtured a passion for academia. For over 15 years, he has been an adjunct professor, teaching Tax Practice & Procedure and Tax 1 to law students. His scholarly contributions include numerous articles in national trade magazines and a significant piece on California Residency Audits published by Thompson Reuters.
