About Scott Tillett
Scott Tillett co-founded Pine Tillett Pine LLP in 2016, where he focuses on civil appeals, with a specialization in plaintiff-side employment matters. He is acknowledged as a Certified Appellate Law Specialist by the State Bar of California and has been consistently listed as a Super Lawyers Southern California Rising Star since 2016.
In 2019, Mr. Tillett was a finalist for the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles's Appellate Attorney of the Year Award. Alongside his partner, Norman Pine, he received the Daily Journal's 2020 California Lawyer Attorneys of the Year (CLAY) Award for their work on the landmark case, B.B. v. County of Los Angeles (2020) 10 Cal.5th 1, a significant wrongful death civil rights action.
In 2021, The Daily Journal named him among the "Top Labor & Employment Lawyers." Mr. Tillett also serves as an Associate Editor of Advocate Magazine, where he oversees the annual “Employment Law” issue with his partner. Mr. Tillett earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Southern California’s Gould School of Law in 2010. During his studies, he externed for the Honorable Judith C.
