Sam Townsend

Sam Townsend, J.D., serves as a Senior Associate Counsel with a distinguished career in Household Law, covering areas such as divorce, child custody, grandparent rights, and estate planning and probate. His legal practice encompasses a wide range of jurisdictions, representing clients in various county and district courts throughout Colorado, including the Colorado Court of Appeals.

Sam earned his Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Virginia and later obtained his law degree from Vermont Law School, where he held a leadership role as a committee chairman in the Environmental Law Society. Prior to his legal career, Sam gained valuable insights working in the tourism and outdoor recreation sector.

In his spare time, Sam enjoys cycling and running in the Colorado mountains and cherishes time spent with his wife and child. His dedication to achieving goals is exemplified by his attainment of the Eagle Scout rank.
