Joe L. Lovell

Joe L. Lovell is a distinguished trial attorney and one of the founding partners of Make Right Law. His practice centers on complex civil litigation, encompassing catastrophic personal injury, wrongful death, and fire damage claims, alongside a diverse range of civil and business disputes.

Licensed in Texas, New Mexico, and Colorado, Joe began his legal career in Amarillo, Texas, in 1987, following a stint in commercial banking. As a second-generation trial lawyer, he co-founded Lovell, Lovell, Newsome & Isern, L.L.P., which later became Lovell, Lovell, Isern & Farabough, L.L.P.

With over 35 years of trial experience, Joe is among the few Texas attorneys double Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law and Civil Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. His extensive civil appellate practice includes numerous published opinions from both state and federal trial and appellate courts.

Joe graduated cum laude with a J.D. from Texas Tech University School of Law in 1987. He is highly regarded for his tenacity and ethics, consistently providing exceptional representation. Recognized by peers, he has been included in Texas Super Lawyers annually since 2006 and holds a Martindale-Hubbell AV Preeminent rating. Texas Watch named him a “Champion of Justice” from 2005-2006.
