Russell Hebets

Russell Hebets began his academic journey at the University of Michigan, earning a degree in economics in 2000. He then pursued his legal education at the Indiana University School of Law, obtaining his Juris Doctorate in 2003. Russell launched his legal career at the Berrien County Prosecutor’s Office in Michigan. Upon relocating to Colorado, he served as a Deputy District Attorney with the Arapahoe County D.A.’s office, where he gained extensive experience handling cases involving DUIs, domestic violence, assaults, thefts, and various misdemeanor trials.

In 2001, Russell transitioned to the law firm of Fossum, Mastro, Barnes & Stazzone, P.C., dedicating his practice exclusively to criminal defense. He has effectively defended clients against charges ranging from traffic violations and DUIs to first-degree murder, vehicular assault, and numerous drug-related offenses.

Russell is a member in good standing of the Colorado State Bar and holds a federal court license. He actively participates in the defense community as a member of the Colorado Criminal Defense Bar and the National College of DUI Defense. With a proven track record of safeguarding the rights of the accused, Russell is committed to applying his extensive skills, knowledge, and trial experience to his clients' cases.
