About Courtney Edwards
Courtney Edwards graduated with honors from the University of Wyoming College of Law in May 2013 and is a distinguished member of the Order of the Coif. During her law school years, she was actively involved with the student bar association, the Potter Law Club, and the Wyoming Law Students for Equal Justice.
After law school, Courtney served as a Deputy District Attorney in Eagle, Colorado, where she prosecuted traffic, misdemeanor, and felony cases. During her tenure at the District Attorney's Office, she contributed as the prosecutorial representative on the local Access to Justice Committee and was involved with the Recovery Courts, including DUI and Drug Courts, in Eagle County.
In 2017, Courtney joined Carlson & Carlson, and by July 2019, she became a partner when the firm rebranded to Carlson, Edwards, and O'Connor. Her extensive experience in the criminal justice system makes her a strong advocate for those navigating it. She is committed to ensuring equal access to justice and provides comprehensive guidance, particularly in family law and estate planning.
Originally from Wyoming, Courtney now calls the Eagle River Valley home. Outside of her legal practice, she enjoys exploring Colorado's natural beauty through activities like camping, hiking, skiing, snowboarding, and whitewater SUP with her husband, Jamie.
