Taylor Equi

Taylor Equi has a comprehensive litigation background, representing clients in Administrative Hearings, Probate Court, Superior Court, Appellate Court, District Court, and the 2nd Circuit Court of Appeals. Her practice areas include trusts and estates litigation, elder financial exploitation, defense against nursing home collection actions, construction litigation, employment litigation, land use and zoning disputes, and personal injury/wrongful death cases.

Before joining her current office, Taylor honed her skills at a civil defense litigation firm in Stamford, where she focused on professional malpractice claims, dram shop and liquor law claims, and catastrophic personal injury claims. Her earlier experience includes working in Washington D.C. for a non-profit public interest litigation firm, where she dealt with private property, First Amendment, and economic liberty claims at the federal level nationwide.

Taylor earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Theory and Middle Eastern Studies, cum laude, from Fairfield University in 2012, and was inducted into Pi Sigma Alpha, the National Political Science Honor Society. She received her Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from Quinnipiac University School of Law in 2015, where she was awarded the Distinguished Scholar Award. She was also an active participant on the Mock Trial team and a finalist in a national civil legal rights trial competition.

An active seminar speaker, Taylor presents for organizations such as the National Business Institute and the Connecticut Bar Association. Her writing contributions include publications for the CT NAELA. Additionally, she frequently engages with the pre-law society at Fairfield University.

Interesting fact: Taylor achieved her high school degree at 16, completed college at 19, and graduated from law school at 22.
