Paul D. Sunshine

Paul D. Sunshine specializes in general liability, construction defect, trucking and transportation litigation, and alternative dispute resolution. With more than 25 years of experience, he has effectively represented clients across Delaware and Maryland in various legal matters, including products liability, toxic tort, transportation, personal injury, and construction defect litigation.

Mr. Sunshine is renowned for his ability to craft comprehensive and efficient corporate strategies that align with his clients' business models and objectives. His extensive experience spans regional, national, and international cases, ensuring successful litigation outcomes.

In 2010, Mr. Sunshine was certified by the Delaware Superior Court as an Advanced Mediator and Approved Arbitrator. His peers frequently select him to resolve disputes, owing to his expertise in mediation and arbitration.

He has also served as Special Master to the Family Court, appointed by the Chief Judge. Additionally, he is a member of the Richard S. Rodney Inn of Court, focusing on litigation.

Beyond his legal practice, Mr. Sunshine contributes to legal education as an adjunct faculty member at Delaware Technical and Community College and Wilmington University. He also judges the Widener University School of Law Moot Court Competition and serves as a Presiding Judge and Case Committee Member for the Annual Delaware High School Mock Trial Competition. After earning his J.D. from Widener University School of Law, he clerked for the Honorable Vincent A. Bifferato in the State of Delaware Superior Court.
