John Tolley

John Tolley brings extensive experience as both a former prosecutor and an insurance defense attorney. Licensed to practice in New York, Florida, Texas, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey, he has conducted over 50 criminal and civil jury trials. As a co-owner and partner at JT Law Practice in Boca Raton, he assists clients with homeowner's insurance claims and criminal defense cases.

Mr. Tolley earned his Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad College of Law in 2014. During his time there, he was actively involved in the Nova Trial Association and the Moot Court Society, representing his school in various national competitions.

Before law school, he graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Science, double majoring in Legal Studies and Criminal Justice. After law school, Mr. Tolley served as a prosecutor, managing thousands of felony and misdemeanor cases, and was promoted to a special unit handling serious felonies, including attempted murder cases.

Transitioning to private practice, he worked with a Civil Litigation Insurance Defense firm, representing AAA-rated insurance companies like Citizens Property and Progressive. Since 2014, Mr. Tolley has also contributed to legal education as a head coach for Nova Southeastern University's mock trial program, mentoring future law graduates.
