Paula C. Roman

With a career in law beginning in 1985, Paula C. Roman has been an integral part of Roman & Roman, a firm known for its commitment to personal injury law and a variety of other legal matters. Paula's approach ensures clients receive thorough and aggressive representation, aiming to maximize their financial recovery through meticulous planning and research.

Paula was raised on the New Jersey shore alongside her four brothers. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing with high honors from the University of Florida in 1973. Her early career included working as a registered nurse in medical-surgical and intensive care units across Florida hospitals from 1973 to 1982.

In 1986, Paula graduated cum laude from Stetson University College of Law. She began her legal career at the Tampa firm of Marlow Shofi Smith Hennen & Smith, P.A., focusing on insurance defense. By 1987, she became a partner at Roman & Roman.

Paula is an active member of the Trial Lawyers section of The Florida Bar and is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida. Her professional affiliations include The Florida Justice Association, the Kiwanis Club of Dunedin, and the Clearwater Audubon Society.

Outside of her legal practice, Paula enjoys water sports, boating, running, and hiking. She resides in Clearwater, Florida, with her son.
