About Jeremiah Ambabo
Jeremiah Ambabo is a seasoned attorney practicing in Lee County, Florida. He began his academic journey at the University of New Mexico, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminology with a minor in Biological Anthropology in 2001. During his time there, he also served in the United States Marine Corps Reserve and coached his high school’s Speech and Debate Team.
In June 2013, Jeremiah pursued his legal education at California Western School of Law in San Diego. He excelled as a member of the Appellate Moot Court Competition Team, participating in three national competitions and being recognized for his speaking abilities. As an active student ambassador and member of the Moot Court Honors Board, he further honed his advocacy skills. His practical experience was enriched by an internship with the San Diego County District Attorney’s Office. Jeremiah completed his law degree in January 2016 with Honors, after relocating to Southwest Florida and interning with Associates & Bruce L. Scheiner.
Before attending law school, Jeremiah spent nearly twelve years with the New Mexico Corrections Department's Probation and Parole Division. He supervised high-risk offenders and was promoted to supervisor of a high-risk unit, earning recognition as Supervisor of the Year. Later, he served as the statewide Training Coordinator for the division.
Jeremiah's journey with Associates & Bruce L. Scheiner began in the fall of 2015 as an intern. He completed his law degree remotely during this internship and transitioned to a Graduate Clerk position with the firm in December 2015.
