Nyonnohweah Seekie

Nyonnohweah Seekie, founder of The Seekie Law Firm, LLC, is a compassionate and assertive legal advocate in Middle Georgia. Her dedication to helping others is evident in her work, guiding individuals through complex legal challenges.

Before embarking on her legal career, Ms. Seekie worked with children affected by domestic violence. Her commitment to community service led her to AmeriCorps, where she tackled critical issues such as academic achievement, youth mentoring, and poverty alleviation. As a counselor at an alternative high school, she provided guidance and support to students during difficult times.

While pursuing her law degree, Ms. Seekie gained valuable experience with the Latin American Association's Immigration Legal Services, focusing on general immigration, VAWA, U-Visa, and removal cases. Concurrently, she honed her skills at the Macon Circuit Public Defender’s Office, where she later became an Assistant Public Defender. Her trial experience and passion for criminal justice were solidified when she successfully defended a client facing over 30 years in prison in her first felony trial.

Today, Attorney Seekie continues to advocate for families, assisting adults and minors facing misdemeanor and felony charges. Her dedication to her clients is unwavering, as she strives to achieve favorable outcomes for those she serves.
