Tor Hoerman

After earning his law degree from Chicago-Kent School of Law in 1995, Tor Hoerman began his legal career at the defense firm Bullaro, Carton & Stone. He soon transitioned to the plaintiffs' side, joining Kralovec, Jambois & Schwartz, where he discovered his passion for advocating on behalf of injured individuals.

During his tenure at Kralovec, Jambois & Schwartz, Tor honed his courtroom skills at the Daley Center, frequently engaging in trials and motion arguments. In 2003, he embraced a new challenge by joining The Simmons Firm in Alton, IL, to pursue significant tobacco and opioid litigation, including cases against OxyContin manufacturers.

At The Simmons Firm, where he became a partner, Tor played a pivotal role in the case against Purdue Pharma, contributing to a substantial settlement and aiding the Department of Justice in securing criminal admissions from corporate executives.

In 2009, Tor fulfilled his ambition of founding TorHoerman Law, LLC. He brought his dedicated mass tort team with him, many of whom continue to seek justice at THL. The firm, with offices in Edwardsville, Chicago, St. Louis, and Philadelphia, is renowned for its leadership in mass torts and personal injury cases.
