R. Parker McFarland Jr., a fourth-generation attorney, is committed to restoring lives affected by wrongful death and serious injuries. Practicing in Cumming, Georgia, Parker has been honored as “BEST PERSONAL INJURY ATTORNEY” by the Forsyth County News four times since 2020. Parker's legal lineage dates back to 1905 with his great-grandfather, John Alexander McFarland, a distinguished trial lawyer. His grandfather, Joe Alexander McFarland, served as a county attorney and circuit judge in Mississippi, earning respect that led to his invitation to the Supreme Court of Mississippi.

Raised in Cumming, Parker graduated from South Forsyth High School in 1994, pursued a B.A. in English at Covenant College, and earned his Juris Doctor from Mississippi College of Law in 2001, completing his final year at the University of Georgia. He initially practiced with his father at McFarland & McFarland, P.C. until 2015.

After a merger in 2015, Parker became a partner at his current firm, which has been repeatedly recognized as “Best of Forsyth.” His practice focuses on trial and appellate work in serious personal injury and wrongful death cases caused by auto collisions and negligence. Guided by values of wisdom, integrity, prayer, excellence, and selflessness, Parker has achieved significant recoveries against auto insurers.
