Jeremy C. Penland

Jeremy C. Penland is a dedicated legal professional serving the Dalton, Georgia area. A lifelong resident of north Georgia, he grew up in Walker and Catoosa counties. After completing his education at Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe High School, Mr. Penland enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, where he gained four years of active duty experience and was honorably discharged.

Following his military service, Mr. Penland pursued higher education in southern California, earning a bachelor's degree in Economics. He then worked in the banking and finance industry for several years. However, during the financial market challenges, he decided to follow his passion for law.

Mr. Penland attended Liberty University School of Law on a full scholarship. During his time there, he actively participated in several committees, including the law journal and ADR boards. His law school experience was enriched by a co-op in Washington, D.C., which provided numerous professional opportunities, including a memorable meeting with U.S. Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito.

Despite these experiences, it was his internship with the Catoosa County District Attorney's office that inspired Mr. Penland to return home. He established a legal practice to serve the community where he was proudly raised.
