Rebecca Torres Kozycki

Rebecca Torres Kozycki, a founding partner at Kozycki Law, LLC, has dedicated her career to defending DUI and related traffic charges. She was admitted to the Georgia Bar in 2001 and is also a member of the United States Supreme Court, the Georgia Court of Appeals, and the Georgia Supreme Court. Her legal expertise has been recognized by her peers, earning her the title of DUI Trial Attorney of the Year in 2013 and the distinction as a Georgia Super Lawyer by Atlanta Magazine from 2013 to 2017.

Before establishing her own firm, Ms. Kozycki was a Senior Associate at Chestney & Sullivan Law Firm. She has a strong background in criminal defense, having spent six years at the Troup County Public Defender’s Office, where she defended individuals accused of felonies and misdemeanors. Her exceptional contributions to criminal defense and the Hispanic community in Troup County earned her the Epiphany Award.

Ms. Kozycki is a member of the National College for DUI Defense, having completed their intensive program at the Harvard Law School. She is also certified in standardized field sobriety testing. Her professional affiliations include the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys and the Cobb County Bar Association.

Her academic credentials include a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Louisville in Kentucky and a Juris Doctor from the University of Baltimore School of Law in Maryland. Before her legal career, she served as a Signal Corps Officer in the United States Army, holding positions such as a platoon leader in Germany and a company commander in Korea. Additionally, she was an Assistant Professor of Military Science at Johns Hopkins University.
