Douglas B Johnson

Douglas B. Johnson is a seasoned attorney with a robust legal career spanning two decades. Born and raised in the Bloomington-Normal area, Doug graduated cum laude from law school, consistently earning awards for his academic excellence. Before joining the Johnson Law Group, Doug amassed extensive experience at State Farm, working in their Regional and Corporate offices. There, he honed his skills as a negotiator and conducted mediations to represent State Farm's interests effectively.

In addition to his legal career, Doug gained valuable expertise in investigative practices while working for a private investigation agency. His work involved surveillance, background checks, skip-tracing, and pre-employment screening, allowing him to develop strong skills in interviewing, statement-taking, and evidence collection and preservation.

Doug's diverse background also includes carpentry work across Illinois and Virginia, a passion he continues to pursue today. He enjoys carpentry projects in his free time and spending quality time with his wife, Bethany, and their two children, Bailey and Caleb. Notably, Doug applied his carpentry skills to design and construct the Johnson Law Group office.
