About Joe Wojciechowski
Joe Wojciechowski has been a licensed attorney since November 2009 and has been with Stoltmann Law Offices since March 2005. As the managing partner, he oversees daily operations, including work, docket, and case management. Joe is hands-on with all aspects of case management, from client intake to trial.
Before joining Stoltmann Law Offices, Joe worked briefly as a paralegal at a Chicago securities defense firm. His practice is primarily dedicated to representing investor interests across various venues. He has argued and defeated numerous motions to dismiss before FINRA arbitration panels and courts. Additionally, Joe has briefed motions to vacate arbitration awards in the Central District of California and Northern District of Illinois, and participated in appeals before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Joe has appeared before FINRA arbitration panels in hundreds of cases and mediated over one hundred investor matters. His expertise extends to the Circuit Court of Cook County, Circuit Court of DuPage County, Northern District of Illinois, American Arbitration Association under both Commercial and Consumer Rules, and Judicial Arbitration/Mediation Services (JAMS). While his primary focus is on investor representation, he also handles some commercial disputes and civil litigation.
A member of PIABA since 2009, Joe has contributed to the SRO committee, annual meeting committee, and subcommittees on discovery abuses and E-discovery. He has served as Managing Editor and is currently the Editor-in-Chief of the PIABA Bar Journal. Joe has authored the "Cases and Materials" article for each journal issue and regularly contributed the "Investors, Cornered" piece.
