Mazyar M. Hedayat

Mazyar M. Hedayat is the principal attorney at M. Hedayat & Associates, PC, a law firm recognized for nearly 25 years in handling cases related to business law and litigation, bankruptcy law and litigation, real property transactions, construction law, and corporate law. Mr. Hedayat attended the University of Chicago and the University of Michigan, earning his MBA from the U.M. Ross School of Business and his J.D. from DePaul University College of Law.

In addition to his legal practice, Mr. Hedayat has served as a title insurance agent and operated a full-service title company for six years. He also held Series 7 and 63 securities licenses and a Business Broker's certificate. His professional affiliations include the Chicago Bar Association, the American Bankruptcy Institute, the American Bar Association, the Will County Bar Association, and the DuPage County Bar Associations.

During his tenure at the DCBA, Mr. Hedayat chaired multiple committees, including bankruptcy, publication, and legal practice management. He was also the Editor in Chief of the Bar Brief and received a Board of Directors Award. His accolades include Lawyer of the Year and Bankruptcy Lawyer of the Year, alongside various client-service awards.

Mr. Hedayat is an active contributor to legal education, offering CLE presentations on topics such as bankruptcy, electronic filing, business formation, construction, and title issues.
