Robert Aaron Perkins

Robert A. Perkins, renowned as The Immigration Professor, pursued his legal education at Beloit College, graduating in 1986. He then achieved his J.D., Magna Cum Laude, from the University of Illinois College of Law in 1989. His career began at the international firm Denton's, formerly known as Sonnenschein Nath and Rosenthal.

In 1994, Mr. Perkins founded his own law firm in Cicero, Illinois, with an exclusive focus on immigration law. His practice encompasses visas, green cards, U.S. citizenship, and other immigration-related matters. He has represented numerous clients in deportation cases, including asylum, cancellation of removal, and criminal waivers.

Mr. Perkins has also assisted various technology and business firms with their immigration needs, covering H-1B, H-2B, E-2, R-1, O-1, PERM, EB-1 visas, and more. He is particularly passionate about litigating against USCIS and ICE for unlawful detention, abuse, and civil rights violations across the United States.

Additionally, Mr. Perkins has filed numerous family-based immigration petitions, including U visas and VAWA petitions, advocating for those affected by immigration issues.
