About Eric Blatti
Eric J. Blatti was born and raised in the Joliet area, maintaining strong ties to his local community. He began his academic journey at Joliet Township High School and earned an Associate’s Degree in Arts from Joliet Junior College. Pursuing higher education, Eric graduated cum laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Lewis University. He then attended Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan, where he was recognized on the Dean’s List and obtained his Juris Doctor in January 2008.
Eric started his legal career as an intern at the Will County Public Defender’s Office in April 2007. After successfully passing the Illinois Bar in 2008, he was appointed as a full-time attorney. In his role as an Assistant Public Defender, Eric earned a reputation as a fearless litigator and persuasive negotiator. He has tried over 50 cases, including both jury and bench trials, gaining invaluable experience.
Eric is an active member of both the Will County Bar Association and the Illinois State Bar Association. Today, he runs his own practice, serving the Chicagoland area with a focus on Criminal, Traffic, DUI, and Family Law, leveraging his comprehensive legal knowledge and trial expertise.
