About Joel P. Brown
Joel P. Brown commenced his legal career in 2008 and quickly established his own law office in 2009, concentrating on criminal law, traffic law, and family law. By 2010, Joel transitioned to a role as an Assistant State's Legal Counsel with the Will County State's Attorney's Office. During his tenure there, he prosecuted thousands of DUI cases, as well as numerous domestic battery and various traffic-related criminal cases. Joel departed from the Will County State's Attorney's Office in January 2016.
Currently, Joel practices in the areas of criminal law, DUI law, family and divorce law, and probate law. He holds a Juris Doctorate from the University of Iowa, earned in 2007, and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Iowa State University, completed in 1997. His educational journey began at Crete-Monee High School, where he graduated in 1993.
