About Brian Adam Clay
Brian Adam Clay hails from Zionsville, Indiana, where he graduated from Zionsville High School. He attended Purdue University on a full academic merit scholarship, earning a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Engineering in 2006. During his time at Purdue, Brian was president of the Beta Phi chapter of Pi Kappa Alpha and achieved dean's list recognition seven times.
In 2009, Brian completed his law degree at the Indiana University Maurer School of Law, serving as managing editor of the Federal Communications Law Journal. His note on network neutrality was published in the journal's 2008 edition.
Before co-founding Black Clay LLC, Brian gained valuable experience working with the Indiana Department of Environmental Management and the Indiana Family and Social Services Administration. Starting in 2009, he clerked for Indiana Solicitor General Thomas Fisher, contributing to filings for the Indiana Supreme Court, the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals, and the U.S. Supreme Court.
Brian further honed his legal skills as a Deputy Attorney General under Indiana Attorney General Greg Zoeller. In this role, he represented numerous state officials, agencies, and employees in both state and federal courts.
