Robert Nice

Robert J. Nice, an Indiana native, has dedicated over 30 years to practicing law in the state. His legal journey began in 1985, focusing on Real Estate, Small Business, Business Litigation, General Litigation, Judicial Malpractice, and Plaintiffs’ Personal Injury. After earning his law degree from Villanova University, Robert gained valuable experience as an associate at a prominent Indianapolis law firm for six years before founding The Nice Law Firm, LLP in 1992. As Managing Partner, he oversees five offices across central Indiana.

Robert's courtroom proficiency is evident through his adeptness in oral arguments and jury trials, resulting in several multi-million dollar verdicts for his clients. Before pursuing law, he obtained a degree in pharmacy from Purdue University and worked as a pharmacist. His extensive real estate knowledge is further enriched by his experience as a former owner of over 100 rental properties.

Understanding the intricacies of small business ownership, Robert offers a unique perspective to his clients. He is actively engaged in the legal community, holding memberships in the American Bar Association, Indiana Bar Association, and Indianapolis Bar Association. He serves on the Executive Committee for the Litigation Section of the Indianapolis Bar Association and was honored as a “Distinguished Fellow” by the Indianapolis Bar Foundation in 2019.

Robert is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Southern and Northern Districts of Indiana, the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court. He is committed to assisting Hoosiers with their litigation needs, providing expert guidance and compassionate problem-solving.
