Jeffrey W. Weiss

Jeffrey W. Weiss graduated with honors from Phillips Academy in Andover, Massachusetts, before earning a B.A. degree magna cum laude in economics from Claremont McKenna College in 1983. He was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa upon graduation. In 1986, he obtained his Juris Doctorate from Tulane School of Law, graduating summa cum laude and joining the Order of the Coif. During his time at Tulane, he contributed to the Tulane Law Review.

Since 1986, Jeff has built a robust legal career with significant experience in both transactional and litigation matters. His primary practice areas include Oil and Gas, Estate Planning, Probate and Succession Administration, Commercial Real Estate, Commercial Transactions, and Business Law. He serves as lead outside counsel for numerous landowners, developers, and locally owned businesses in Northwest Louisiana.

Jeff is licensed as a title insurance producer by the Louisiana Department of Insurance and is an authorized title insurance agent for Fidelity National Title Insurance Company, First American Title Insurance Company, and Chicago Title Insurance Company. He has also contributed to the legal community as an assistant examiner for the Louisiana State Supreme Court Committee on Bar Admissions.

Currently, Jeff is a member of the Louisiana State Law Institute's Common Interest Ownership Regimes Committee. He is married to Vona Weiss.
