Sara K. Ward

Sara K. Ward is a dedicated partner at Maiona Ward Immigration Law, with a focus on immigration law since 2003. She provides comprehensive legal services to families and employees worldwide, handling immigrant and non-immigrant visa processing at U.S. Consulates, legal permanent residency at USCIS offices, naturalization, adjustment of status, asylum, waivers of inadmissibility, and business immigration matters.

In recognition of her expertise, Attorney Ward was named a Rising Star by the "Super Lawyer" publication of Boston Magazine in 2008 and 2011. Fluent in Spanish, she possesses a deep understanding of cross-cultural issues, having studied in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and Valencia, Spain.

Her commitment to advocacy began as a law student, where she supported migrant farm workers in Ohio and Michigan. Attorney Ward earned her B.A. from Assumption College and her J.D. from Suffolk University Law School. She is an active member of the New England Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and the Massachusetts Chapter of the Federal Bar Association.

Attorney Ward serves as the Co-Chair of the MA Chapter of the Federal Bar Association Immigration Committee and holds a position on the Board of Directors for the MA Chapter of the Federal Bar Association. Her leadership roles include serving as the AILA NE liaison to local Community Based Organizations and coordinating AILA NE Citizenship Day, aiding many low-income legal permanent residents in their path to U.S. citizenship. Currently, she co-chairs the AILA NE Pro-Bono Project Committee.
