Robert S. Iwrey is a founding partner of The Health Law Partners, P.C. He graduated with High Distinction from the University of Michigan in 1988, where he was an Executive Member of the Psi Chi National Honor Society and a member of the Golden Key National Honor Society. In 1993, he earned his J.D. from Wayne State University Law School, receiving the American Jurisprudence Award in Advanced Legal Writing and excelling in Moot Court.

Since 1993, Mr. Iwrey has been an active litigator and began focusing on healthcare transactional law in 1999. His expertise spans all areas of healthcare law, including licensure, staff privileges, contracts, physician practice matters, healthcare investigations, and audit defense.

Admitted to the Michigan Bar and the U.S. District Court Eastern District of Michigan in 1993, Mr. Iwrey expanded his admissions to the U.S. District Court Western District of Michigan in 2003 and the New York Bar in 2009. He is a member of the State Bar of Michigan (Health Care Law Section), State Bar of New York (Health Law Section), American Health Lawyer's Association, American Bar Association, Federal Bar Association, and Oakland County Bar Association.

Mr. Iwrey was elected to the governing board of the State Bar of Michigan Health Care Law Section from 2005 to 2011, serving two terms as Treasurer and chairing the Pro–Bono Work Group. Additionally, he led the Oakland County Medical–Legal Committee and the HCLS Website Committee, and was involved in the Technology Subcommittee of the HCLS' Substantive Law Committee.

Recognized for his excellence, Mr. Iwrey holds an AV rating from Martindale–Hubbell, has been named a Super Lawyer in Health Care since 2004, and is a Fellow of the HCLS.
