Amanda M Ghannam

Amanda M. Ghannam is the owner of AMG Legal PLLC and a seasoned attorney specializing in employment discrimination and civil rights law. Her notable achievements include securing jury verdicts in federal First Amendment trials and obtaining affirmations from the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. Amanda has also been successful in winning preliminary injunctions in federal police misconduct litigation, alongside negotiating numerous settlements for clients who faced wrongful termination.

Amanda earned her Juris Doctor with a specialization in Labor, Work, and Income from Northeastern University School of Law. Prior to founding AMG Legal PLLC, she spent seven years working at Michigan employment and civil rights firms. Her experience includes serving as a managing partner at Schulz Ghannam PLLC for two years.

In addition to her practice, Amanda is a Cooperating Attorney with the American Civil Liberties Union of Michigan and serves as Of Counsel to Nova Legal Group PLLC. Her professional excellence has been recognized with the Detroit Bar Association’s Outstanding Young Lawyer Award in 2022 and the Women Lawyers Association of Michigan - Wayne’s Honorable Kirsten Frank Kelly Award in 2024.
