Brent R Olson

Brent R Olson is a distinguished member of Lacourse, Poole & Envall, P.A., practicing law in Duluth and nearby areas since 2009. With a license to practice in both Minnesota and Wisconsin, he has represented clients in every courthouse within the Sixth Judicial District.

A graduate of the University of Minnesota Duluth, Brent earned his law degree with distinction from the University of North Dakota. His early career included roles as an Assistant Public Defender for the Sixth Judicial District and as a staff attorney for the Indian Legal Assistance Program in Duluth. Over eight years, he honed his skills in courtroom settings.

As an accomplished trial attorney, Brent has tried over three dozen cases to verdict. He is a former member of the American Academy of Forensic Science and is passionate about restorative justice. He contributed to the development of the Domestic Violence Restorative Circles program and served as a defense representative for the South St. Louis County DWI Court.

Brent is dedicated to supporting families in crisis as an experienced family law attorney.
