Carolyn (formerly McAlister) Geary is at the helm of McAlister Law Firm, LLC, located in Gulfport, MS. With a career spanning over two decades, Carolyn has developed a distinctive approach to legal representation, prioritizing an understanding of each client's unique needs to guide them through informed decision-making processes.

Carolyn's extensive experience includes high-stakes divorce cases and complex family estate planning. Her legal acumen is complemented by a strong personal commitment to her clients. With a background that includes two years as a staff attorney for various judges, Carolyn has a comprehensive understanding of legal proceedings from multiple perspectives. Her tenure as an insurance defense attorney has also equipped her with insights into the workings of insurance companies in personal injury cases.

Initially establishing her practice in Florence, AL, Carolyn later transitioned to the role of regional manager at the Mississippi Center Legal Service. Here, she honed her skills in family law and built a substantial foundation in legal practice. Since departing from large law firms, Carolyn has served as a general litigation attorney, gaining experience in family law, criminal defense, wills and estate planning, and appellate law.

In 2019, Carolyn was recognized with a Top 10 Attorney Award in Mississippi by National Family Law Attorneys, Inc. Beyond her legal career, she resides in Gulfport, MS with her husband, Mikey Davis, and their son, James. Carolyn is actively involved in her community, teaching first grade catechism at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Biloxi, MS.
