Christopher C. Haug, often referred to as Stopher, is a dedicated attorney practicing in Mississippi, Alabama, and Florida. His career also includes significant roles at two regional law firms in Mississippi and Alabama, as well as serving as in-house counsel for a major Gulf South company.
Stopher has a robust record of trying cases in both state and federal courts and is well-versed in mediations and arbitrations. He earned his law degree from the Hugo L. Black School of Law at the University of Alabama in 2000, following his undergraduate studies at Mississippi State University in 1997.
A graduate of Leadership Mississippi, Stopher plays an active role in his community as an Election Commissioner for Ocean Springs and as an executive board member of the 1699 Historical Society. His leadership extended to serving as Commodore of the Ocean Springs Yacht Club in 2017.
Residing in Ocean Springs with his wife, Lauren, and their three children—Nate, Nolan, and Caroline—Stopher enjoys family life with their dog, Teddy.
