Jeffrey Grant Pierce

Jeffrey Grant Pierce, an accomplished attorney in Biloxi, Mississippi, began his journey in Mobile, Alabama. He completed his high school education at St. Paul’s Episcopal High School before enrolling in the honors program at Birmingham-Southern College. He later transferred to the University of Alabama, where he excelled academically, making the President’s List and joining the English Honor Society. Notably, in the 1990s, he led the Crimson Tide rugby team to its first East Coast playoffs and briefly played for the East Coast All-Star team before choosing to focus on academics.

Jeffrey pursued a master’s degree in literature at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, specializing in Anglo-Saxon literature. He then transitioned to law, earning his first law degree from Mississippi College of Law, graduating in the top quarter of his class. He further advanced his legal education with a Master of Law degree, graduating with honors from the University of Alabama Law School.

Jeffrey's legal career is marked by diverse experiences, including work with the Mississippi Attorney General’s Office and serving as a judicial clerk for Judge James M. Moody at the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Arkansas. After practicing at several law firms, he established his own practice in 2009. From 2015 to 2020, he served as an Administrative Law Judge for the Mississippi State Personnel Board and was a member of the Employee Appeals Board. His leadership in the field has been recognized twice by the Mississippi Journal.

In addition to his practice, Jeffrey has a passion for teaching. He has taught trial practice, business law, criminal law, domestic law, and paralegal studies at the University of Southern Mississippi, Tulane University, and Mississippi College.
